Like most online accounts, you must have an e-mail and password for it, but if for some reason you need to change your e-mail or password for your Airbnb account, you can do so quite easily.

Head to the Airbnb website. Open your preferred web browser by clicking on its shortcut icon on your desktop, then type in www.airbnb.com on the address bar. Hit Enter on your keyboard and you will be taken to the Airbnb home page. .

Log into your account. Click the "Log in" button at the top-right portion of the website, and the log-in window will pop-up.

Go to your profile page. Click your name at the top of the page and then click the "Edit Profile" button from the small window that will appear.

Change your e-mail address. Scroll down to the E-mail Address section. You will see your current e-mail address displayed on the provided text field. To change the e-mail address, simply delete your current address and type in the new e-mail address you want to use.

Save your changes. Scroll down to the bottom part of the page and click the "Save" button.

Change your password. Under the Change Your Password section, enter your old password on the first text field. Next, enter your new password on the succeeding field and then type the new password again on the last text field.

Confirm the password change. Click the blue "Update Password" button at the bottom-right part of the Change Your Password section to confirm your change and save it.

Are you trying to create a new email address or use an existing one? If you're creating a new one, then if they tell you it's already used, you'll have to choose a different email address.
